My Why

Something profound happened to me in the summer of 2017 that set me on a path of self-healing and discovery.  I became obsessed with harnessing my God-given biology to be the most optimal version of a Human Being; Body, Mind, and Spirit.  

In my constant search to find mechanisms that help keep anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, anger, and the “racing mind” at bay, I have re-discovered many ancient remedies and self-healing techniques.  One key piece of the puzzle that has brought together the knowledge I have been acquiring on my healing path is the slow and light breathing technique taught in the Oxygen Advantage. 

I filtered my daily breathwork, yoga, and meditation sessions through the Patrick McKeown Oxygen Advantage method to astonishing results.  It was the missing link of knowledge that I did not know was missing on my wellness path.  

Staying true to the Aquarian star energy of the Water Bearer, I aim to pour forth the waters of wisdom to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear.  

Before you begin any breathwork technique, whether it be the Wim Hof, Holotropic, Soma, Lions’ Breath, and the list goes on, the fundamentals of the Oxygen Advantage are critical to any breathwork practice!

Learn the importance of nasal breathing, nitric oxide, and carbon dioxide's vital role in your breathing patterns.  Learn breathing exercises that you can incorporate into your day.

February 22, 2023 6:30 - 7:30 PM - Level 1 

Level 1 - $22 – Functional Breathwork Instruction (Prereq: Intro or COSA Webinar) (60 min)

Take your health and workouts to the next level by incorporating nasal breathing 100% during your waking hours, during workouts, and especially during sleep!  You will learn exercises that help you build up your tolerance to carbon dioxide. 

March 15, 2023 6:30 - 7:45 PM - Level 2

Level 2 - $33- Functional Breathwork Instruction (Prereq: Level 1) (60-75 min)

 I will arm you with my one-hour breathing workout that you can incorporate into your wellness routine to astonishing results.  I will guide you through my morning breathing routine: 15 min targeted diaphragm and intercostal exercise, 15 min "Om" breathing, 15 min "Breathe Light to Breathe Right" exercise, and 15 min Modified Wim Hof.  Start your day with atomic focus!

Private -Functional Breath-work session(s)

For the beginner

The breathing exercises are not strenuous and are intended to get you to slow your breathing and focus your breathing through your nose 100% of the time during your waking hours, during exercise, and especially while you sleep!  The intent is to raise your BOLT score (Body Oxygen Level Test) to normal parameters.  We will test your BOLT score on your first session.

What can you expect at a breathwork session?

Dress comfortably.  Some exercises will take place sitting, while others may require you to lay down or walk several paces.  

For the recreational athlete, weekend warrior, and severe athlete

The Oxygen Advantage intends to get you nasal breathing 100% of the time, especially when exercising!  If you are currently mouth breathing during any part of your workout or run, you are better off slowing down till you can breathe 100% of the time through your nose.  I speak from personal experience and the experience of my students when I say breathing nasally 100% of the time will take your workouts to the next level!  I can customize a breathing session  to any exercise or sport.  

How can I do a nasal breathwork session if my nose is constantly clogged?

Don’t worry!  I have just the trick!  Nose unblocking exercises are part of your first session.  You will find that the more you use your nose to breathe, the less it becomes blocked, and allergy symptoms significantly decrease.  

Pricing

Private breath-work sessions are structured to expand upon your previous experience or toward a specific goal. 

Your first session will be approximately 75-90 minutes.  Additional sessions are One Hour.  

First Session - $150

Additional Sessions - $50
