What does Rose Matcha taste like?
Our Rose Matcha combines ceremonial grade/first-flush matcha powder with organic rose petal powder (not flavoring!) for a subtle, floral matcha beverage. This Matcha is slightly sweeter than traditional Matcha but still carries many of the same vegetal-tasting notes, vibrant green color, and rich, complex flavors.
What makes Rose Matcha unique?
This Rose Matcha is filled with nutrients. Like our traditional CBD matcha, it’s rich in catechins, a plant compound that acts as a natural antioxidant. In addition, the rose petals add vitamins A and C, riboflavin, and niacin, as well as minerals such as calcium, phosphorous, iron, and potassium. Because we only use organic rose petals, delicately ground into a fine powder, our Rose Matcha retains a significant concentration of the nutrients in the whole rose.
When should I drink CBD Rose Matcha?
Like all Matcha and authentic tea beverages, Matcha contains caffeine. Matcha is the ground whole tea leaf, meaning you drink the entire leaf in the liquid. This results in a higher concentration of nutrients but also a higher concentration of caffeine. For that reason, we suggest enjoying this beverage in the morning or long before you plan to sleep!
Instructions:
Add 1-1.5 tsp matcha to a small bowl with 2oz hot water. Whisk vigorously. Drink as is, or combine with an 8oz milk alternative for a matcha latte. Pours well over ice!
